Arranged Employment for Federal Skilled Worker Program
Arranged Employment under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) means a valid job offer from a Canadian employer. An arranged employment increases the total score of the candidate under the selection factor points of FSWP.
Arranged Employment in FSWP selection factors
A candidate’s eligibility to apply for permanent residence in Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker Program is assessed on the basis of six selection factors. Based on this, a score out of 100 is awarded to candidates. Only those who score at least 67 points are eligible to apply under FSWP. If the candidate meets other requirements as well, he/she would be able to submit a profile to the Federal Express Entry pool.
Arranged Employment earns a candidate maximum of 10 points in the FSWP selection factors. An additional 5 points may also be earned Adaptability factor for the FSWP. It means you are eligible for these points if you have a job offer from a Canadian employer for a duration of at least one year. But you must have obtained the job offer before you submit your application under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP).
