Each of the 13 provinces and territories of Canada has its own unique Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), exclusively designed to meet their particular economic and demographic needs. Canada Provincial Nominee Program is a faster immigration pathway to obtain Canadian permanent residence. It allows provinces and territories to nominate eligible immigration candidates for permanent residence in Canada. Applying for Canada PR through a PNP has two stages–first obtaining approval at the provincial level and then applying for permanent residence at the federal level.
Each Provincial Nominee Program has different priorities and operates on the basis of the unique demographic and economic needs of province/territory. Obviously, the requirements and application procedures also vary from PNP to PNP. So it is necessary for immigration candidates to find out the most suited PNP immigration pathway for them.
