To begin your application for the Australian Skilled Recognised Graduate Visa 476, go online to ImmiAccount and start uploading scanned copies of your required documents to the application. It is critical to send the required visa payment to secure the completeness of your application, as applications without this payment will not be processed. You can apply from within or outside of Australia, but keep in mind that you must be outside of Australia when the visa is issued, and you cannot hold a bridging visa if you apply from within the country.
476 Visa Processing Time:
The processing time for a 476 visa is at least a year, with some applications potentially lasting more than 17 months. Your 476 visa cannot be extended. Furthermore, you cannot apply for another 476 visa. It's important to note that applying for another 476 visa is not permitted. However, if your intention is to prolong your stay in Australia, you might qualify for an alternative sponsored visa or a permanent visa.
You may include family members who are members of your close family unit. Your spouse/partner, your children or your partner's children (minor or adult dependents), and you or your partner's grandkids are all considered close family members.
You can apply for Subclass 476 visa from anywhere in Australia; however, you must be outside of Australia when the visa is approved.
If you intend to stay in Australia after your 476 visa ends, you may apply for another permanent work visa. There will be varying requirements depending on which visa you apply for.
Below are the steps to follow when you apply for a 476 Visa in Australia
Step 1: Pre-Application Preparations
Before you begin, make sure your passport is still valid. Primarily, create an online account on the official website to organize your health exams. If you need help, make sure the person you choose is an authorized immigration consultant, legal practitioner, or exempt individual.
Step 2: Gathering Documents
Gather the following documents for your 476 Visa application:
Make a copy of your passport and other identifying documents.
Transcripts and a letter of completion with course completion dates.
Proof of language proficiency.
Character proof.
If applying with a partner, including their identification, marriage papers, and relationship proof.
Get a birth certificate, a parental consent form 1229, and a statutory declaration if applying with a dependent.
Step 3: Submit Your Visa Application
If you live in or outside of Australia, you can apply for the 476 Visa online:

Upload the necessary documentation and pay the application cost.

If applying with family members, be sure that each applicant's processing cost is paid and that all necessary documents are attached to their applications.
Step 4: Application Status
The Australian government will provide you with written confirmation of your application and document receipt. Any additional information demanded will be communicated via your online account. Make no travel plans until your 476 Visa is accepted. Biometric submission may be required.
Step 5: Visa Approval
Make sure you are not in Australia when the immigration decision is made. If you are granted a visa, the Australian government will notify you of your visa grant number, start date, and visa information.
You and any family members included in your application can apply for the visa while inside or outside of Australia. If you apply while in Australia, keep in mind that you will not be eligible for a Bridging visa to stay in the country throughout the application processing period.
It is important to be outside of Australia after your visa has been approved. This criterion also applies to all family members who are included in a combined application.
Notably, if you have a Special Category (subclass 444) visa, you can apply while still in Australia. In this case, you are eligible for a Bridging Visa, that permits you to stay in Australia while your decision is being made. Because of their eligibility for visa approval within Australia, subclass 444 holders are eligible for this accommodation.
